:JapanXReader: Presents

You sit patiently in a very traditional Japanese bedroom. Didn't Kiku say he has a present for you? That's surprising. It's not a holiday, let alone even close to your birthday. He isn't usually this spontaneous. But you have a present for him as well. One he can't take back.

Kiku walks into the room and seats himself next to you, "You brought your Nintendo 3DS," he asks, "Correct?"

"Mhm," You reply as you take out your DS. The Japanese takes it and inserts a new game, "I managed to get you the newest Harvest Moon."

"YOU DID?!?!" you yell as you take back your game system and immediately start to play.

You almost miss the faint smile that appears on his lips. "I'm preased you rike it, _____," he says quietly as he gets back up and leaves to to the kitchen. Kiku decides to let you play for a couple hours while he cooks dinner for the both of you.

After about non-stop playing for hours, your stomach growls as you save and turn off your new game. "Kiku? Is dinner ready?" you call out to your boyfriend who was slaving away in the kitchen when you last checked.

"Hai," he answers as he comes back into the room and gives you a plate full of Japanese food with a pair of chopsticks.

"Thank you! I'm so hungry!" you start eating quickly.

"How do you rike the game?" He asks as he sits next to you and skims over the instruction manual for Harvest Moon.

You swallow the mouthful of food and nod. Smiling, you say, "Oh, and I'm pregnant..."

You had heard him say, 'Do you like the game?'

"Already? You got very far in only four hours!" he stated with a hint of amazement.

"What? Oh no... I meant in real life..." You say to him calmly.

"..............................." The Japanese man just stares at you. You smile weakly to lighten the mood and wrap your arms around him to give him a comforting hug. "I hope you like my present..." You whisper jokingly.

He slowly puts his arms around you. You knew that he was probably mentally beating himself up for getting you pregnant. "Kiku, it's gonna be okay... I'm happy..." you assure him.

"I-I....... You're giving me the greatest gift anyone could ask for..." Though the idea of raising a child incredibly frightens him, just knowing that he will be doing it with you calms him down. You look up at him and kiss his cheek. Kiku blushes slightly.

"W-we're going to have to move in together and get married-"

"Yes Kiku, I know..."

"I-I mean it, _____!"

"I know! And I really... want to do all those things with you..." You've never seen him smile so much before. He strokes your cheek and presses his lips against your forehead.

"私はあなたを愛して, _____."

"I love you too, Kiku."
